MILAN — The first international Photo Vogue Festival
, entirely dedicated to fashion photography, will run Nov. 22 to 26 in Milan, founded by Vogue and sponsored by the Italian city’s municipality.
Vogue Italia’s senior photo editor Alessia Glaviano explained on Wednesday that it will be free and open to the public offering lectures, conferences and exhibitions. The PhotoVogue exhibition is the result of a scouting project initiated by the photography platform hosted by Vogue.it juried by a panel of internationally acclaimed judges consisting of Franca Sozzani, Alessia Glaviano, Paolo Roversi, Jimmy Moffat (Founder and Managing Director of Art + Commerce) Michael Van Horne (Art + Commerce), gallerists Peter MacGill and Michael Hoppen, Azu Nwagbogu (Founder and Director of the Lagos Photo Festival), Florence Bourgeois (Director of Paris Photo) and Charlotte Cotton, (writer and curator).
