Antje Hanebeck received her Meisterschülerin Diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich in 1998. After working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Photography in the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich for several years, Antje Hanebeck returned to developing her own personal photographic projects, which have been exhibited throughout Europe and in Japan. The project Radiant was commissioned by East Wing to celebrate the Architectural master I.M. Pei and his incredible contribution to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar. Radiant was exhibited in the Museum of Islamic Art in January 2014, the first exhibition of photography and by a living artist ever to be held in the museum.

Antje Hanebeck presently lives in Munich.
