Kamolpan Chotvichai was born in 1986 in Bangkok where she currently resides and works. She received her MFA at Silpakorn University, Bangkok and has since been awarded numerous art prizes and scholarships. She challenges the limitations of paper in her artwork through the use of simple tools. One of her repertoires is the application of certain cutting techniques to dissolve her own image that is printed on paper. Based on the Buddha’s teaching on anatta.
Kamolpan Chotvichai has participated in numerous exhibits and won multiple prizes and bursaries, include the 1st prize – Gold medal remove the word prize its repeated in the 58th national exhibition of art, Bangkok in 2012. She held her last solo exhibition, EMPTINESS, at Ardel Gallery, Bangkok in 2013. She also participated in the exhibition ANTHROPOS : Navigating Human Depth,
Thai and Singapore Contemporary Art exhibition at Sundaram Gallery in Singapore and New York. USA in 2014.
